Sonic Generations
the premise I guess is sonic goes back in time to when he was a good video game character and the new gangly xtreme sonic hangs out with the beloved genesis sonic and new sonic goes through 3D remakes of genesis levels and classic sonic goes through 2D remakes of dreamcast onward levels
I actually really liked the daytime portions of Sonic Unleashed, so I assumed that a game that was just that with all the shitty parts of unleashed removed would be right up my alley
but they made a few small tweaks about how sonic handled and it made it feel really clunky to me for some reason
I dunno I'll probably go back and try it again sometime soon
it's just nice to see that sega is actually making steps forward with each new sonic game now, instead of just wallowing in their own shit over and over again.
