I can't wait for round two of Kathy Nickolaus: unbelievably incompetent, completely corrupt, or both?

C is the correct answer, as always.

There are more precincts still out in Milwaukee than there, though. Not sure what's up with that either.

Also odd that that district has more precincts still out than the rest of the state combined. They need to get some better counters :P

Everyone should have held back their votes until waukesha county was in, because Nickolaus is not to be trusted.

According to those on the ground, Waukesha County Clerk Kathy Nickolaus will not report results for at least 1 hour. #wiunion #wirecall #WTF

    Printing up ballots takes time!

Well, that and make sure that there was no way she could have suddenly found 7000+ votes.

    Probably a game of chicken.

That would be hilarious, if really terrible for democracy.

Well at least the voters board...

Ok but I mean the supreme court...

    Or the governor wouldn't want...

    Fuck.

Seriously if another key election goes through that county and mysteriously they have votes to put it to a republican than the federal government should investigate immediately. Third world countries have more accountability than that county.

I've said it before and I will say it again: there is a point where corruption and incompetence touch dicks and are equally bad.

Once again Menomonee Falls Dispatch: Joe Petrie-Patch: According to Patch's unofficial totals, Democrat Sandy Pasch leads Republican Alberta Darling 25,938 votes to 22,900 votes. The only municipality still out is Menomonee Falls.

Perhaps someone at the paper should call over to the election board and see why it's the only municipality still out?

The numbers look to have held stable for long enough that I'm thinking that's what it is. On all three counts.

Update: Waukesha Co Clerk's office says 9 of 10 precincts will be on the web in 5 minutes.

Any questions on why they can't report 10 of 10?

The feds would have to invite the UN in and then governor would have to agree to it. Yeah...though I wish we had international vote watchers in the US because I think it would improve our elections greatly, it won't happen.

Seriously, egregious voting abnormalities would be the DOJ's jurisdiction. But they are generally extremely hesitant to deal with these issues for political considerations.

Waukesha's site is giving Darling 4k on Pasch, and combined with Ozaukee it's very unlikely that Milwaukee will save Pasch. Damn.

Odds are that Harper would show up at the governors mansion, get down on his hands and knees and say to walkers shoes "Teach me your ways oh spiteful one. I want to become great in the ways of dickishness governance."

It's a conservative district. They like that she's corrupt, because she plays for their team.

It just came in for the most part. It is 10/11 and put Darling up by 2,600 or so votes. Milwaukee still has 12 precincts to come in.

Maybe someone can act like a fake Republican and out-crazy her? That could also backfire if she still wins since now people can say that the voters wanted a 'sane' person instead!

Also, I'm now hearing that the absentee ballots are still out? I always thought those were counted first...

Also, From TPM: Milwaukee County will reportedly have their final results reported in about 10 minutes. That should tell us the story.

If the current trends hold, though, those 12 precincts will give Pasch only 2100 votes, and Ozaukee will chip in another 1200 for Darling.
