Why shouldn't the puppet get 50%? It does nearly all of the work and is the main attraction for the act. If anything, 50% is too low. Gabe is really only entitled to the 10% an agent would get for booking a client to a venue.

Edit: okay, lesson learned just now. FireFox 6 does not play nice with PA's images. Anything that is solid black like Gabe's hair or Anne's shirt is terrible looking.

I think you guys need to keep in mind, Washington state is pretty conservative. Mike and Jerry are both from a crappy backwater place, the kind of place where every car has a tea party bumper sticker and Glenn Beck is on every tv.

My point is, that they are used to people blaming things on Obama, unions, democrats, etc. Hence they use the same phrases sarcastically for humor. Mike and Jerry are both fairly liberal, and you shouldn't take any "damnit Obama" jokes as being sincere.

The part of Washington that Mike and Jerry are in now is not really conservative at all.

Washington itself is a pretty blue state. And they are originally from Spokane, which while less liberal than Seattle, I would certainly not call it a conservative place. At least, not what I remember of it.

It greatly depends on where in Washington you're talking about. The urban centers are quite liberal. It's the rural areas that lean more conservative.
