I've been learning to draw for a little while now and I've been considering buying a graphics tablet. The thing is I'd like a relatively cheap one, being that I am new and still learning at drawing with just pencil and paper. And while I've heard that anything that isn't made by Wacom is useless, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on a cheaper brand that is pretty reliable. I was looking at the Genius G-Pen 4500 and the DigiPro WP5540 for example.

But honestly, I really think just going the extra 40 bucks and getting the Wacom Bamboo would make you happier in the long run:
