you disable, they try and use the same attack again but fail, you laugh as they have to switch their gengar counter out and let somebody take a shadow ball or focus blast to the face

ok so you hold leftovers/black sludge
the moveset is shadow ball/focus blast/sub/disable
you come in on a predicted immunity/as a revenge against something that can't touch you, set up a sub
you are then free to attack while the sub breaks
if they have one move that can damage you and one move that cannot, disable the move that can damage you
of course, the strategy can be beaten by using the move that gar is immune to, so it disables that instead, it takes prediction
a variant is pain split/disable with life orb and minimum hp ivs, so you can actually beat blissey one on one and the lower your health the stronger you get

gar in gen 5 is a pretty damn good all purpose sweeper/annoyer, which is great since he is definitely one of my fav pokemon
Posts
went into the haunted mansion, caught a gastly
went HOLY EFF WHAT
timid, perfect ivs
just speed and special attack, the only stats he needs
because a wild pokemon with straight perfects is much much rarer than a shiny
but I like the sound of it
she had the old bulky toxic spikes/dragon tail combo
sorry beasteh I'm stealing that

them: uhhhhh I thought we were playing OU?
me: we are!
and then I jumpluffucked them

immune to entry hazards, status, weather, big fat troll
part of the problem is that like 3/4 of the moves I want on it can only be learned in the gen 3 battle frontier
although I do have an AR now...

That was quite annoying
But I did catch them all in Ruby.
if you teleported out of the room and left the base without taking it, I don't think you could get back
also don't forget about the braille
and then having to get a relicanth and raise a wailmer from, like, level 20 to level 40
regi trio
so lame
so emblematic of R/S design
they're cool braille robots with good defense
you seem to have a distinct preference for pokemon composed entirely of random blocky shapes

Skull Man's opinions on Pokemon
I don't really have strong feelings about them
also, what is wrong with a metal thing being made out of jagged pieces
I'm actually not wild about the kami trio TBH either, design seems kind of lazily similar
luckily, the musketeers more than make up for them
ludicolo! and cradily!
