    I reaaaaaally wanted to be in the beta but the only computer i have that would run it properly isn't connected to the internet and it would have been the most tragic thing

    i went back and played some d2 expecting it to be a lot of fun

    somehow it wasn't. instead it just made me want d3 more and i stopped playing after maybe 30 minutes

    (you do need big huge numbers in order to complete uberlevels, which are tailored for endgame farming difficulty)

    most of the best gear is actually stuff you can craft, by collecting shrines and blessing rare items for the affixes you want (for instance, transmuting a sacred rare belt with an abandoned shrine has a chance of giving up to +10% dexterity, attack rating and flat dexterity along with random rare attributes. blessing the crafted item has a chance of adding even more attributes from the same pool)

    if you are creating a runeword, you can create a base item with superior quality and max sockets then add crafted jewels until you place the rune (in median runewords are a single rune socketed after the other sockets are filled with jewels)

    it is incredibly customisable and easy to get into from the documentation

    Any of you other folks in the beta need to add me to your friends list. I'm tired of playing solo and the pug games are so hit and miss. Some have been excellent, and others are people scattered around like ADHD kiddies hopped up on Mt Dew.

    When you open up the social button and add a friend you have to add their email that is tied to their b.net account. My email in my forum profile is my b.net email

    I'm glad I bought a security token way back. Getting hacked in WoW is one thing, but if I got hacked in D3? I'd end up in the the deepest parts of hell.
