Protip: Change your download region to somewhere obscure. Ukraine is my go-to choice. Downloaded it in less than 2 minutes. Item servers are down though.
Neutral flag on one end of the map, teams fight over it to drag it to the rocket with an elevator on the side of it. Ride up the elevator while holding the flag, top of the rocket opens up, put it in, win the round.
The rocket then takes off and does something I wont spoil.
If they were to actually make Pyroland assets though, it would be beyond amazing.
It would also make for some awesome Hallowe'en maps.
They did, though. The whole point of the Steam Filmmaker thing was that it uses in-game assets. So somewhere out there is all the assets used in the video - including the map.
So we get one new weapon, a bunch of reskins with no stats, and everyone gets LSD. Having played with the scorch shot its decent if your flare aim is terrible. Good for lighting groups of people on fire without having to deal with detonators absolutely shit detonate mechanic.
Perhaps I was expecting to much. I mean pyros main weakness always has been sentries and range. Every other class has been getting soft counters to their hard counter. Spies get the icecicle, scout got bonk/milk for putting out flames, demomen got a whole new playstyle, soldiers get a fuck ton of weapons that make it almost impossible for pyros to reflect due to range/server lag, snipers get jarate.

It is possible that they are unique weapons, and Valve is just keeping the "real" skins a surprise.
I also wouldn't be surprised if there weren't.
The original hats and drop system weren't advertised until the day after the patch landed.

Flamethrower buff is ok, I still wish they'd make the flame longer and quicker though.
