Man, I am so loving the facial expressions on these comics lately. :^:

I can totally relate to this comic. As soon as my shipment from ToysRUs comes in I will have all the characters currently out. I absolutely hate that they gave stores exclusive characters though. TousRUs has just the 3 legendary, but wal-mart and Target each got an exclusive on the regular characters.
I can see how this might be really fun as a kid with friends that are also collecting them, but what's the draw for anyone older than the target market?

Sometimes, you just have to play a financial irresponsibility simulator.
Also, that Murloc lookin' dude with a speargun is all the incentive I'd need.
I wonder if Gabe also has the exclusive Dark Spyro figure which comes with the 3DS version and the Toys R Us exclusive 3 pack containing Legendary Spyro, Legendary Chop Chop and Legendary Bash?
I don't plan to open mine cause I want to keep them in mint, but then I guess I wont be able to use the online codes. I hope they do release more characters

well, there is 20 characters available not counting the legendary or dark spyro. There are 32 shown on the poster, so 12 more to get and the online has 5 total adventure packs listed to unlock. so, 3 adventure packs with 3 characters, and 3 more 3 packs? or another $120 to spend lol

The draw is obvious, the draw outweighing the cons of spending that much on a game like that less so. If I was as filthy rich as Gabe I'd buy that shit in a heartbeat "for my son".
Wait, wait... you have to drive to (or order from) three different firms and buy plastic objects to play 100% of a game?
This is a plot to increase fossil fuel consumption I tells ya!

Activision made this?
Holy shit.
Too much money for one game company to have
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.

You might be able to position the package close enough to the RFID scanner that it can detect the characters without removing them from the packaging.
I am not looking forward to sequels and imitator products flooding the marketplace if this proves to be the must have product this Christmas.

The thing with adults is that they used to be kids.
What Gabe and Tycho seem to be forgetting is you can *never* own them all. . . they'll just release more in a few months, and then your collection will be incomplete again.

That's a pretty great quote and this is a pretty good comic.
I would rep you for posting that quote, if this forum had a rep system.
It's the reference for the final comic of Mac Hall, a webcomic I loved very much.
Spoil for large:
Warframe: TheBaconDwarf
But I also love Mac Hall and that was a perfect final comic especially.
