The new forums will be named Coin Return (based on the most recent vote)! You can check on the status and timeline of the transition to the new forums here.
The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
The current plan is to attempt to start the Holiday Forums on December 23rd sometime during the day. During this time, the Future State Planning Center will remain open. The Holiday Forum merge will last (if Vanilla cooperates) until January 3rd.

We were just teaching her!

    So mirrors are a no-no?

Not just mirrors, anything reflective, spoons should only be plastic, so as not to reflect, etc.

Keep those kids the hell away from pools of water.

    Also windows.

Will the horror of windows never end!?

Hell with it. We need to blind the kids for their own good.

But how would we get them to be afraid of touching themselves then if they're already blind?

What about when the kid starts to bring her friends over? I know my mom used to lay out in our backyard naked with no qualms about us seeing her(woo, haven't talked to her in 5 years). And my sister would bring friends over to look at her through the windows.
I'm against the whole 'letting kids see sex/nudity'. That girl will be messed up when she gets older. Her views on society will be warped, and not for the better.
Yes, she should be ashamed of her body, and afraid to let people see her.

    right.

see... I don't really have much of a problem with that. Oh nos naked people...

I don't even, theoretically, have much of a problem with being open about sexuality. But... these creepy people, I can't help but think there is some sort of sinister motivation.

I get the same feeling. Maybe I'm a bit over sensitive, as I have read through dozens and dozens of case files, and the top rationalization sexually abusive parents give when questioned as to their motive is 'I wanted to teach them about sex, and it's better they learned it from me than out on the street.'
