Scouts are incredibly resilient on E, where they can consistently stay at midrange for most classes and they can't do anything about that. Demomen and engineers seem the best-equipped for dealing with the E scouts, but engineers are needed at A and demomen are easy to gank. It's really a fascinating dynamic.
