I always have to be doing something while I watch tv or a movie. Cutting my fingernails and toenails just happen to be something i can do with my hands. Either that or on my laptop or snacking like a fat ass.
How'd you do UNC for only a semester? Are (were?) you a Duke student on a Robertsons scholarship or something?
Oh man, no. I got addicted to Everquest and dropped out!
Oh, cool. I spent my first semester at UNC playing Diablo 2, MUSHing, sleeping through class and jerking off. Then I moved home without bothering to actually withdraw from the university and I got all Fs. It was pretty cool too.

I had a friend who got addicted to crack and stole his parent's car. He did this like 2 weeks before he was supposed to go off to his freshman year of college.
I think he eventually got arrested and found jesus or something.

Right on, h5
I regret it now though
Yeah, me too. I still don't know what I want to do for a job/career even now, seven years later.
But all of my friends who are graduated, married, parents, or what have you, with real jobs... to varying degrees they are all less happy than I am. So I'm not really sweating it too hard.

It wouldn't be so bad, except that two of my best friends have of course graduated from UNC and are now living in LA. One is some kind of intern-assistant to Ridley Scott, and one is writing plays being produced by a Hollywood theater and working at the planetarium. I can't talk to them without feeling pangs of regret.

Well, what are you doing nowadays?

Playing LOTR OnlineBeta.
What are you doing? How close are you to graduating?
I think if I went back full time I would be done in three or four semesters. But I've learned, three or four times now, that I'm never going to complete a full-time semester again. Every time I try, I get sick of it, give up, and get atrocious grades. I did about 10 credits last summer session and I'm doing that again this summer. Then maybe I'll do part-time class, or class online, or something.

Good for you, dude. Do you like Chapel Hill? I kind of hated it while I was there, but now I find that I miss it. Franklin Street isn't too bad.

I'm a big fan of Chapel Hill. It's a much different town if you're not living campus life 24/7--the student population is kind of like background noise if you're a townie. It's easy to ignore them.
I think my favorite thing about living here is that I'm within a couple of miles of 50+ great restaurants.
K, you should start your own radio show or something.
What ever happened to that anyways?
I'm getting a regular shift again in the summer. I was just getting tired of doing one every single week, especially since the G&T chat thread got closed and I couldn't count on knowing there were people I knew listening every time I went in to do a show. I just needed a break.

NCSSM is just 11th and 12th grade, right? I doubt you would have known anyone that I knew.

My toe nails though, I trim all the time. I can't stand having long toe nails. It looks hideous.
Also, I don't like girls with long fingernails. What's up with that?
