So, is it just an amazing coincidence that the plot seems to mirror the newest Mission Impossible film?
Not that it matters, I'll still see it. Hard to believe how deep the ol' childhood toys have their claws in me.

I never watched G.I. Joe as a kid.

But Snake Eyes seems like the kind of dude 4 year old me would have liked.

Well, it be fair gi joe as we know it was a stupid 80s action cartoon where men in flashy costumes shot lasers at robots.

so yeah, this look like the proper tone. Which joes where used in the first movie, so i can speculate who is what in this one? Is Bruce Willis General Hawke or is that taken?

    The Rock is super rad

and Snake Eyes is Ray Park's perfect role. The dude is a terrible actor but an amazing stuntman. So, MUTE NINJA.

the guys who made the GI Joe video games for the last movie tried to put those lines in as easter eggs

if i was a writer for that movie, most of those lines would find ways into the script.

Well, it probably involves a friend of his. A certain Mr. Franklin.

He comes from a large family.

I would even accept if Duke approached some sort of crazy tech that they were going to use and was like "what is this, some sort of body massage machine?"
