    There are so many genre Crossovers now that I really don't see why anyone gives a shit about genres at all any more.

    when I see a band with a seventeen genre description after them, I die a little inside.

    I'm not defending the way we go about things here, but making a huge deal out of it and calling it trolling it hilariously ridiculous.

    And yeah I like DragonForce but that's the only "metal" I've ever really listened to.

    It's important to keep up with how the styles are growing.

    I mean you can can call a "porno-grind/technical death metal band" just GRIND if you want. But there are distinctions for people who listen to different sub styles.

    Some are harder to pin down than others, but you wouldn't call Black Sabbath a thrash band.

    Also, its important to keep up with the history of the music.
