The E3 Expo should be threatened with a media blackout over the ESA's support of SOPA.
Any and all organizations or companies should be threatened with boycotts and media blackouts over their support of SOPA. Starting with the E3 Expo. All gaming website should threaten a media blackout of any coverage of E3 unless the ESA publicly denounces SOPA and PIPA. Somehow we need to get the ball rolling on this, so I figured I would start with asking Penny Arcade to show their support by threatening a boycott of E3. I am sure there is a loss to be had by doing this, but there will be a bigger loss for all if SOPA or PIPA passes.
If anyone reading this is interested in supporting this there is a hashtag for Twitter called #boycotte3. Please tweet this as much as possible to gain some traction on this.
The battle against SOPA has essentially been won, with there being little to no chance that it will ever be implemented, so you're asking people to lose out on E3 because of principles.
It would be nice to see such a thing though, but I'm afraid I'm personally too big of a fanboy to stand up for my long-term consumer rights in this case.

There needs to be 41 senators to block the vote on the 24th. Unless you know without a doubt who all 41 of those senators are and that they will vote no then there is still a good chance this thing can pass. http://americancensorship.org/
Everyone needs to put aside what they want (attending E3) and think of the bigger picture here, including you SquiddyBiscuit.
If PA was so anti-SOPA as to actually advocate a boycott of E3, then the first course of action be to ban from PAX the following companies:
Nintendo
Sony
Microsoft
Capcom
EA
Epic
Sega
Nvidia
Square Enix
Ubisoft
Konami
Namco
THQ
Eidos
Tecmo Koei
Take Two
Warner Brothers
Disney
All these companies are members of the ESA. None have withdrawn from the ESA (yet) over ESA's pro-SOPA stance. If E3 is to be boycotted due to its pro-SOPA stance, then PAX should be boycotted as well if it associates with these members of the pro-SOPA ESA.
So, what's being asked is for PA to boycott PAX?
I think the OP has good intentions, and that one should strive to fight the SOPA, but there might perhaps be other methods of doing that - such as the big Google/Amazon/etc blackout.

You are right, it would be hypocritical. Basically we as consumers, journalists, bloggers, programmers need to stand up for ourselves. Every company that supports SOPA needs to be boycotted all the way. There should be no leniency.
Any company that stands behind SOPA needs to be boycotted and blacked out of all media. Not a single person should buy their products or subscribe to their services. We need to show that what we want matters. And the only way to do that is to not give them any money at all. Look how easy it was with GoDaddy. They flipped their stance within a week. That case was easier on us because all we had to do was change to a different service, we did not need to go without anything. This boycott on the other hand would be a lot harder because a lot of people would have to do without trade shows or certain kinds of media. But it can be done and when it is over all normalcy can begin again. We have shorter than a month to accomplish this. Is it really too much to give up a few niceties for less than a month to teach the greedy companies that you can not control our government.

While it's a nice idea (really, being honest) the chances you'll get of the average E3 person choosing to not attend due to this is.. slim. On the plus side, as people have said, SOPA continues to go further and further down in terms of actually passing and with Google and other big companies continuing to raise the ante, as it were, I think we're in a fairly good spot.
That being said, we really need to find a way in the future to curtail this shit before it even reaches this level. Dropping the average age of a Congress critter by like 15-20 years might be a good start.

While they may have not withdrawn, a fair number of the companies you've listed have released statements that are anti-SOPA, including companies that had originally been pro-SOPA.

I tried to get a boycott going when the ESA banned booth babes from E3 and that didn't go anywhere, so I doubt this is going to happen either.
ESA has always been about protecting their partners IPs. They don't care about anything else. I'm not saying I agree with their narrow minded views, but there is a reason those video game companies let them handle C&D and subpoenas against pirates and bootleggers.

Which has all the authenticity of a Vegan (who is vegan for moral reasons) donating to a factory farm because they also sell vegetables as well as meat.
If the best you can come up with against someone who's patently ignorant is to yell back at him, "Yeah? Well there's BOOKS, and they say you're WRONG!"
Then honestly you're not coming out of this looking great either.

But they're still part of the pro-SOPA group. Just because Nintendo and EA have requested to have their names removed from Congress' official list of SOPA supporters does not automatically make them SOPA opponents. MS at least has come out and said that the bill needs to be significantly revised. All I've seen from Sony or Nintendo is changing their stance from "Go SOPA!" to "no comment".
Their continued membership in ESA suggests support by proxy, unless they come out against SOPA like MS has. Otherwise their membership in a pro-SOPA group implies that they are pro-SOPA themselves.
It's like assuming a member of the NRA is pro-gun rights. Unless that person actually comes out in opposition of gun rights, their voluntary, dues-paying membership in a pro-gun rights group suggests that they themselves are pro-gun rights. If you're in the Sierra Club, I'm assuming you care about the environment.
Compare these game companies to Kaspersky, who withdrew from the Business Software Alliance over the BSA's support of SOPA. That's a stance of actual opposition to SOPA, rather than (at best) neutrality.

It's a good thing people like Google actually give a shit cause honestly the average person is either ignorant on the issue or so apathetic to it they might as well be.

I kind of wish Google would be a little Evil in this. Rep. Lamar Smith we know about your clown porn puppet show you plan on putting on and that you sent out an email to that regard, if you do not want Texas to know about it you'll kill this bill. Or something of that nature.
Actually I did care about that, but I wasn't voting age then.
Also, I just bothered to find out that both my senators are dummies and don't get the tech industry. Feinstein is worse since she has no idea what it's even about. I suspect the same for Boxer but she hasn't made any dumb public comments yet. I just hope my options come November don't suck.
Are staffers really expected to be experts on certain fields? I would've thought they'd be more along the lines of administrative support, handling paperwork and the Senator's calendar and such.
For expert opinion on certain subjects, that's where lobbyists come in.
The problem is that the pro-SOPA argument is easier to simplify into novice terms than the anti-SOPA argument. It's easy for a novice to understand "This is like stealing a movie from a store!" It's harder to understand the mechanics of hosting potentially infringing content (or links to it).
So even if the anti-SOPA forces had equal resources with which to lobby Congress (which they don't), they'd still face an uphill battle because their argument is more nuanced.

I am not sure why you think that the "battle has essentially been won" considering that Wikipedia, Facebook, and Google are thinking of staging a day wide blackout on Jan. 23rd, the day before SOPA is voted on.
