Gabe obviously went to the wrong website, because you can find opinions of every variety if you look hard enough. He must have gone to the pro-ISS site, rather than the anti-ISS site or the sex-ISS site.
"It did not." is perfect. It's funny enough when narrators in movies shut down ideas bluntly and concisely (e.g. Billy tried to build a tree house. He failed.), but it seems even funnier this way when the character says it.
This reminds me of playing Chaos in the Old World for the first few times.
I still see Tzeentch and Nurgle win far more than the other gods, even in the expansion. Although a lot of the game is knowing when to shit on a player that is gaining too much momentum. It's easier to know when to shut down the other gods I feel.
Anyway, the comic has definitely happened to me before. Most recently regarding Warmachine. I bought the Cryx battlebox and my brother bought the Khador one. I thought his was way better than mine, until I hopped onto the Privateer Press forums and learned that my box should win every time. I'm going to play them a lot better now haha.
You fuck wit' Die Antwoord, you fuck wit' da army.
My wife would have been one of those forum posters in panel 2 as of last week. We picked up Battleship Galaxies and sat down to play it. She referred to the ISS cards as "stupid" and "useless" and proceeded to get slaughtered by my Wretches.
The 2nd game we switched sides and Wretches won again! It helped that she rolled a couple "instadeath" shots against a few of my ships. Otherwise I would have nuked her to death...

And you can perfectly imagine Mike saying this in a 4th Panel.

Hasbro's space-based board/wargame.
That was announced before that damned movie.
(I've played 1 game and I love it, can't wait for more)
Just add "the next day..." in a yellow box at the top.
This reminds me of the first few times playing just about any strategy game ever. It's so perfect.

I would expect so.
Speaking of which, you should go read the BGG forum for Battleship Galaxies...
