I seriously don't get why this is an upgrade. Is there some threshold that hydras cross in terms of utility with a 1 range upgrade? I guess they even up with stalkers and void rays, but you seem likely to engage both (especially voids) on creep, so getting close wouldn't be a problem.
I mean, the upgrade isn't like siege mode or thermal lance, which changes the effectiveness of a unit entirely. It's just...1 range. It's just an upgrade for the sake of an upgrade.
edit - I just looked it up, and it's also more expensive than I remembered. Thought it was 100/100.

It looks like we've got 23-26 people interested in a teamleague, which would be enough, I think. I'd like to talk to people about it.
For one, I need captains, probably just four. I have an idea of the kind of people who might be interested, but I'm not going to volunteer people.
I'd like to start off with a conservative league, meaning with a setup that will be resilient to people dropping out, and that won't last too long. Four teams is a good number for that, since that would just be three weeks of the regular season and one week of playoffs (finals/bronze match). I do think I'd like to get this organized so we can see if it'll work. I'll be crafting some stars tonight after I get home from teaching, probably 7:30-ish EST, and I'll jump into mumble. People who are interested in captaining should talk to me tonight or PM me. Also, this is the point at which we should make more official signups. I am literally off to teach in the next five minutes; Kambing, you seem to be around right now and have actual real-life kinds of skills. Can you set up a second google doc for official team league signups?
Edit: if Kambing can't, if someone else could do it, that'd be great. If noone can, I'll handle it tonight.

I went 7 pool against a random on Shakuras because I just didn't feel like playing a full game against one.
We scout each other doing an identical 7 pool + 2 drone ZvZ all-in.
"Ok so now we both pull back and play it by ear. Of course drone pull 7 pool loses to defensive 7 pool where those 2 drones are instead mining until they fight."
This dude doubles down by pulling his entire drone line across Shakuras in plain sight of my OL.
Guys, I think I could take my two hands and wrap them around their middle and have my thumbs and fingers touch on both sides. I don't think in all my years as a string bean I ever managed that level of lankiness O_O
Lucky for them they're Korean. In Japan, the pop stars always seem to end up with the sumo wrestlers.
