My first ska show I went to I got to see Goldfinger and Reel Big Fish. I got to get up on stage with Goldfinger and sing along to I Wanna Marry My Stalker. And that show was included in Reel Big Fish's live album (the first song on the first album is how they started the show I was at). Pretty much the best live show anyone could ask for (except for the time I got invited to hang out with the band after the show when I went to see Lemon Drop Kick, but that's another story)

Anothe live ska story
I went to see these guys play and it was great
Except there was this group of four teenagers who were trying to mosh to this music
After they tried to do this for two songs the lead singer stopped the band and asked the house to shine a spotlight on the kids
He then said something like "Guys what are you doing? This is dancing music, you shouldn't be trying to hit one another. Why don't you ask one of the many nice ladies I see out there tonight to dance? I mean unless you like dancing with a bunch of sweaty dudes, which is you know cool and all."
They didn't try to mosh again until Catch 22 played. Also got to see one of them ask a girl to dance and get shot down which was hilarious.
