[WH40K] PA Deathwatch detachment collaboration project

I, like Valhalla before me, have been keeping up with the thread, just not posting in it since I need a model and April is still a month a way. Still super excited for this, well now less so since SJ is gonna one-up my Raven Guard man with his bitz.

After tweaking some things, I've made an adjustment.

The 4 psycannon paladins are now;

Psycannon/sword
Psycannon/Halberd
Psycannon/Hammer
Psycannon/BANNER

SO! @DaveNYC, @Valhalla130, @Dr Keenbean, and @Dayspring decide who is taking which model. Whoever wants the banner, you're welcome to freehand it if you think you're up to it. We could also build one with bitz, or we could use one of the generic ones and add our detail to it.

Also, dropped MC from everything in the Paladin squad.

Hammer seems the most Iron Hands, but I'm willing to go Halberd (like the techmarine power axe) if people thing it would be a better choice (or someone wants the hammer more)

I'd like the sword. I assume these are power swords. Are we doing the "lit" blue lightning effect power sword, or the "unlit" look GW featured int he SM Codex, which just has bare metal swords?

As for painting, that's up to all of you to decide. Remember, a lot of this equipment is mish-mash shit taken from multiple chapters, the inquisition, etc. so it doesn't have to all have the same stylings.

@Custom Special - No idea, haven't checked them out. What did you have in mind?

Also - I'll be updating the OP with my changes to the army list.

Banner you say? I assume that everyone is OK with an abstract impressionistic design that communicates the Deathwatch's hatred of xenos through the use of random colors and lack of straight lines?

Think I'll at least have him planting the thing in someone's torso. If anyone else is using xenos parts, we should probably coordinate.

Some inspiration. If you prefer I can build the banner then mail it to you to add to your model. I have plenty of Xenos bits and green stuff.

You need to buy that Ultramarine banner with the warrior on it and mount it on the back of my terminator. I don't care how big it is!

If they made more banners in that style but looking differently I'd definitely buy more.

I like the pose. And I've seem some vindicare remodeled somehow into a post like that that look good. I don't know about the model itself though.

Yeah, the pose is good but the model itself is terribly generic. If you had a way to spruce it up and '40k' it so to speak it could be serviceable.
