No... but he has shown situations, recently, where he feels he knows what is best and will behave whatever way he wants to rectify the situation.
Everyone knows this about Reed: Smartest man in the Universe, but Franklin has more common sense at this point.

'Fuck yeah, me too. What little kid ever pretended to be part of the lynch-mob?'
I've liked it so far. The retcons have been subtle enough that, imo, it casts a different light on past and recent events without discounting them completely. As long as it continues in this tone, I'll be happy.
Besides, I loved all things Infinity Gauntlet related, so it was pretty cool to see the recent issue. I really hope they lose the gems soon, though.

I never read anything with the gems before, but I have a basic idea what they are, and it looks to me like an awesome setup for a future storyline...see what major fuckups get them to start pulling their gems out, who falls to the temptation to use them first, what if they use them against each other, etc.
I picked up #2 yesterday, and I wasn't entirely sure how I felt about it. There were parts that I enjoyed,
like where Iron Man was slowly being destroyed by the Reality Gem.
But the whole scene with Reed and the Infinity Gauntlet seemed a bit odd. Has he ever shown any indication of being susceptible to seduction by power?
Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Even a saint would be tempted with omnipotence.
That whole scene reminded me of Lord of the Rings. Reed Richards might as well be standing at the edge of Mount Doom holding the Gauntlet with Uatu and the other Illuminati behind him saying, "What are you waiting for?! Just let it go!"
Did these events take place before Xavier became Onslaught? Because that would explain a lot about Onslaught was able to do a lot of the things he was able to do. And also why he would seek out Franklin Richards.

It doesn't seem like it. I mean, the setting is described as 'several months ago.' Granted, in comics, several months can mean fifty freaking issues sometimes, but it seems like a bit of a stretch, even for Marvel, to go back and say, "Oh, look! We've had these the whole time! We just kept it a biiiiiig secret!"
Loved the special last year and these first two issues of this mini. Thought the first issue was great, but this second issue was even better. Loved the various bizarre locales and Xavier's expression at the end. Great adventure story and beautiful art to boot...

I'm thinking it's either between HoM and CW, or just before HoM.

It's before HoM: Xavier isn't depowered, as per the Decimation. It's only shortly before, however, because of the reference to getting the power gem from Titania.

you're thinking of stephen hawking
Personally, if I were Hawkeye, I'd probably stab her in the face, amnesia or no amnesia.
