The phenomenon of the way we react to GOP homosexuality is a little weird. It's almost like we have contempt for their gayness, even the homosexual people among us. It's almost like the hypocrisy changes how much we care about their homosexuality.

I'm not sure if I have something really coherent to say on it yet.

Isn't the negativity a result of the GOP guy voting down bills that would benefit homosexuals? Or is there a "hating GOP gays" vibe I am unaware of?
Partly, I mean, they spend ages decrying the gays or simply supporting the hatemachine that is the GOP and then they're outed, one way or another. And we sort of buy into the GOP rhetoric that being gay is shameful - because of the hypocrisy of their position and the fact that they are traitors to their fellows. But it still involves, if only in some small way, the association of "gay = bad". There might be some light of day between "We revile your hypocrisy" and "LOL self-hating gay" but I don't think, in practice there is a lot.

    I don't think so

It isn't the hypocrisy or the gayness

    it's the other bullshit

    you know, their GOP-ness

the fact that they keep turning out to be gay is just the insanity on the terrible-cake

    I could see this.

    Maybe...

I have an Asus netbook and it's been quite good to me for the last couple years. Lotsa netflixin' and the occasionally pwning noobs. I hook it up to my TV all the time via HDMI to watch stuff. It's quite useful.

I am a fan of asus laptops, but most of the time the specs I want seem to always be just outside my price range when I'm in the market.

Aww yeah, just did my taxes and I am getting a sizable refund. Even the state is giving me money back!

And on top of that, I decided to spring for Turbo Tax deluxe online because my return was kind of complicated. It was going to be $40 plus another $40 for each of the two states I was filing in. Well, the site fucked up and I contacted tech support. In the process of troubleshooting, they credited me the main software and both states to try a download.

In the end I paid $20 (state efile fee) of the $140 I was going to have to pay. Free Turbo Tax deluxe for federal and two states!

God my aunt is so stupid/annoying. She's tagging herself in a bunch of facebook pictures my relatives have to be able to look at them.

Same aunt that bothers me every few months asking me if someone answered to her classified ad on her twitter account with no followers.
