I noticed this today as I checked PM's. Also, if any mod shows up before larlar could you explain my jailing? I seriously didn't do a damn thing wrong. Hell, I only made one thread yesterday and it wasn't even a good one.

    I've never actually gotten to that before. I guess I could flood my inbox with jail warnings till I get over 100%

    I've noticed that the other PM boxes can go well over 100% in storage, too, but that may be for a reason.

    Did you try PMing Larlar about it?

    I know that's a joke, but PMing a mod about your jailing is still the best way to go about this.

    Yeah, that was the first thing I did, but he wasn't online. Then I noticed the 108% thing and I figured I'd bring it [the jailing] up as a subpoint in this thread.

    AFAIK there are some bugs with the box sizes, but in general the pruning does happen.

    Certain folks like mods and such can go to 200%, that is a hack we put in place some time ago. The thing with the savebox, though, well it's buggy and if you actually depend on it working you might one day find a bunch of stuff disappeared.

    oh, the first time I read this thread, I didn't realize you had gotten a jail notification. That code is separate from the normal PM code, and thus does not run the normal prune to keep it at 100%. The next regular PM coming in should knock it back down to size.

    I have heard reports of the savebox exceeding 100% before though. But like I said, I wouldn't count on it, by any means. If nothing else, alpha or I might someday notice the PM table is getting largish, run a query, and *poof* wasted space would be reclaimed.

    I used to get over 100% all the time. I thought that there was a minor bug in the system.

    It wasn't until later that I realized how quickly 108% became 90%.
