But yeah Heihachi seems like one of the stronger Tekken characters. I think the Tekken characters will be alright/strong once folks realize they're focused on quick overhead/low mixups, which 2D players aren't quite accustomed to.
I love some 3d games and the high / low / throw mixups are a big reason I am mostly sure I'll be playing a Tekken character beside Bison.

just from what i've seen in videos
p4arena is very similar to blazblue, but actually has a lot more elements from other fighting games
everyone has an srk of some kind iirc, there are short hops (i think) and rolls (definitely), space is harder to fight for and is valuable in a less obvious sense than in blazblue
Also Ono said no Q EVER and no Karin because of licensing work (its not impossible but its more trouble then they want to bother with) but looks like Harada is using her for TKxSF
He seemed receptive to Alex, R-mika and Eagle though.
Just to touch on the WNF situation. I am dissapointed with what happened I am also upset that Evo pulled their sponsorship. What I would of done was issue redcard to both players, you are punishing the community for their actions.

Don't know if you seen the Nerdjosh/Renic stream earlier but they said that no one is identify-ably bad and everyone seems to have some really good stuff.
They implied that Marduk, Heihachi, Rufus and Nina were all top tier for sure with Nina being broken

and instead there's more ground/air footsies revolving around personas
