and also I should have mentioned that the Geth only reacted in self-defense
it seems like if the Quarians were all "whoa we created sentience on accident, let's see where this goes"
there would have been no Geth uprising
which is a pretty convenient judgement to make when you're not sitting on top of a subjugated military and labor force that just became aware that it is subjugated
then... stop subjugating them? instead of killing them?

this is stupid and responding is not worth my time
then why did you respond to it?

if only you had this response to things more often
Well I mean Takyris flat out said Wrex and Eve usher in a cultural renaissance and redeem the krogran race.
above is tuchanka, this is ending
if I remember right he flat out said he thought they'd do pretty well by the krogan, but that is not a foregone conclusion within the narrative itself
also, he's wrong. wrex was on earth when the relays blew up. whatever the krogan are doing, they're doing it without wrex
No, there was no "I think" or "these are my thoughts."
It's still outside of the text and therefore not really meaningful for this discussion
if taky and the rest of the writing team wanted it to be etched into stone that the krogan would be awesome with a cure + wrex and eve, okay with a cure + wrex OR eve, and awful with a cure without wrex or eve, then they should have written it into the game. End of story.
NEW CRITICISM
it does me wrinkled, flaccid heart good that we're running into these tropes of critical discourse

so do you not believe in the idea of panic, or
"we panicked" is not really a good defense for toastercide

sure am glad I'm getting this degree!
worked out pretty good for me
I'm pretty disenchanted with the idea of formalized criticism in general
but I planned on majoring in creative writing, not literature, to begin with
so that was just a joke, I'm pretty fucking pleased with my college education thus far
yeah it's intensely useful for both of those things
also i got sick of mark meer after 5 minutes, but i do think garrus and tali are the 2 best-acted crew members (maybe due to their longevity?) and it was cool to skip ahead and see that exchange
Technically i am as trained as i am ever goign to get, i just don't know much about the human reproductive system. as someone who is willingly removing themselves from it, it seems ironic(?) that that is the thing currently holding me back.
I enjoyed my history degree and still think history is a great academic subject but I can't help feel at times that maybe it is not the most practical of things
I was going to do English lit or whatever but I was talked out of it by English lit students who said that I would probably hate it for being too formalized about what is good or not.

sounds those lit students understood you pretty well

Yeah I thought so too
so I did history instead, which at least has some sort of reasonable criteria for what makes for good and bad history
as well as a healthy amount of understanding that what we think is good and bad history is probably unique to us, just like it was for most other periods

whooops
you got me
of course the best sniper rifle is still, Paladin

understandable, maybe, but still clearly wrong

I will never understand why people become accountants
There might be something you haven't accounted for.
job stability. guess who gets fired last?
If you guessed the CEO, you're correct, but if you said accountants you are second most correct.
also it's not very hard work and it pays alright.
I just forgot about how easily I get bored.
perhaps you'd be interested in a more exciting job, like banking

Go on.
I'm thinking of going back to school to become an accountant!
Because it turns out I am too lazy/stupid for mechanical engineering

pee -> belly button
result: baby
top score
man, if you love basic math and putting things in the right box, accounting is for you!
Yeah I thought so too

yeah, see that's what i said.
and apparently that's not how it works?
I think my catholic education is failing me.
a career based on simple math and tricking myself into enjoying small repetitive tasks you say?
i wonder if the headmaster knows about this?
"useful" and "not useful" are more what you are looking at
and people seem to understand that "useful" and "not useful" aren't objective, which is nice
Don't you have an anime to watch or something
The Widow is basically a beefed up Mantis so that seems like the obvious upgrade when I get it
It's light, shoots fast, hits fairly hard, and has a fast reload.
It's probably the best sniper rifle in the game, and will probably be nerfed at some point the way the Falcon was
shut up you monster
they already took my falcon from me don't let them take the valiant too
Whenever CarbonFire equips the Valiant, I feel I'm doing pretty good if I can maintain about half his score
edit: both of us sniping
waiting for its time to come again
mark your diaries, ladies and gentlemen
today, Dichotomy felt hope
guh
i had to scratch up that 99000 credits with half-aborted silver pubbie games and bronze matches
