I think the reason I like the striker so much is because it's the closest thing to an assault rifle with high explosive rounds from mass effect 1

I love the raptor. I'm not that good at sniping, so it allows me to potentially miss my first shot, adjust slightly, then spamclick until my target dies.

I'd use the mattock instead, but the raptor is already scoped, so I can use the damage and penetration mods. Also salarian 30% sniper rifle weight reduction.

With the extra ammo from getting it up to X maybe it'll be better
nothing like sitting there mashing the fucking revive button while it does nothing, then you die because a successful revive + living through it depended on your precise timing
also cover: besides the obvious sticking to cover when you're trying to run, looking around while in cover could use some work. If I am in cover and I want to look behind myself, to make sure I don't get killed from behind, my guy should not be standing up to do this

he's right though. Damage per shot, accuracy, recoil, are all slightly in the Raptor's favour. It's a bit heavier, but it also comes with a scope, meaning you can have 2 other weapon mods, where a mattock could have a scope and one other mod, or no scope and 2 mods.

If their barrier can be taken down or at least weakened a bit I've been cloaking and using the Geth heavy melee to wipe them out.
Not advisable when they're at full health because they still find a way to insta-stab you in that animation.
Seeing you spin your character around so fast all the time weirded me out
