Well at least this inhumanly compassionate person who works with a local news station's pet segment is agreeing to foster the two of them until she can find them homes.
I hope she does, but they are not young cats

Like let's not even talk about anything else that's wrong with the game. Just the graphics are so shitty and the artstyle is so shitty I just feel like laying face-down in bed and crying whenever I look at it.
First step to sign up for MItt Romney's campaign emails: requires me to put in my zip code or it won't accept my email.
fail
That is a lame barrier to entry! Why, Obama's campaign doesn't even make you prove you're American when you donate to his campaign.
Neither does Romney's
To my knowledge, Romney's donation site will reject CC numbers associated with foreign banks and requires the card address be a valid US one.
Obama's does not (nor did it in 2008).
I would be happy to know this is not the case!

All of my bank accounts are with US banks
I have received begging papers from Romney's campaign
I'm not an American
Similarly, I know someone who is an American who does not have a US based bank account and lives overseas. Should he not be allowed to donate money to a political campaign? Absentee voting is allowed, why not absentee political donations?

Like, having a US bank account is not even remotely close to a test of citizenship

Sarks you've been through the foreclosure thread in H/A?
I'm really sorry to hear you're losing your place. :-(
We have been in the process for several years. The lawyer my mother worked for before she became disabled is handling the process for free, which is amazing. At this point we just want to get away from this but the place we are moving into is smaller and these two cats are problematic so we can't keep them.

no but any money going from one bank account to the other usually requires someone to check a "these are funds from a domestic bank". I know it happens to me all the time whenever I have to do business tax shit. I always get a check box. I think it's because the IRS is cracking down on overseas bank accounts or something.

The issue is that it is illegal to take donations from foreign nationals. While there is probably a little bit of both your examples happening, no one has a right to donate to a political campaign in the same way they have a right to vote. Your question is honestly sort of amazing to me. While Obama's approach is certainly money++, it also creates a series of illegal campaign donations from non-citizens. Romney's approach nets less money from citizens but adheres to the law.

right there on the sites
or a lawfully admitted permanent resident
but then again in my experience permanent residents are always the exception
except corporations
it is trivial to generate fake but plausible US addresses for (real) credit cards
does anybody actually go to the door to check, that seems unlikely
yess get peppers on it
The difference is in the card processing backend.
DIOCLETIAN!!
Krugman didn't take the bait to drown the argument in detail, which was nice
*Sputter, tea shoots out nostrils*
I beg your pardon sir!?
dunno where to find that on the website I guess
I wish he was a consistent nutbar.
I wish he was a delicious nutbar.
The backend is irrelevant. That checkbox is legally sufficient
what is that
