    Round 3, Summoning Phase
    game81state1.png
    Upgrade Effects -
Bloodthirster - Once per round during the summoning phase, you may summon a Bloodthirster for 0 power into a region that contains six or more corruption tokens once per round.
Mystical Disregard - Once per round, you may play a Chaos card on top of an opponent's Chaos card, canceling its effect. The card you play must have power equal to or greater than the card you cover.
Daemonettes - When you summon a Daemonette into a region, you may take control of an opponent's Cultist in that region until the end of the turn. (Place the Cultist next to the Daemonette as a reminder.)
The Under Empire - You treat all regions with Skaven tokens as adjacent regions. When a region is ruined, you may immediately move any number of your figures from that region into one adjacent region.
    OWC Effects -
    Witch Hunters
In the end phase when Old World cards are resolved, in each region containing a Hero token,
the player with the greatest Threat score loses one corruption token there, if he has any present.
    Call to Arms!
During the corruption phase, reduce the total number of corruption tokens that each player places in each region by one.
    Spell Effects -
Norsca: Skitterleap - If you dominate this region, you may immediately move any number of your figures from this region to one adjacent region.
Kislev: Festival of Sinew - When an opponent summons a figure to this region, gain one power point.
The Empire: Creeping Death - If you dominate this region, place one corruption token in each adjacent region.
The Empire: (M) Daemonic Subtlety - Your Warriors and Greater Daemons in this region each place one corruption during the corruption phase.
Bretonnia: (M) Nurgle's Quest - If you place at least one corruption token in this region, immediately advance your dial one tick and carry out the dial instructions. This can be fulfilled once per phase.
Bretonnia: (M) Warpstorm - If you kill one or more enemy figures in this region during the battle phase, place a Warpstone token in this region.
The Border Princes: Skitterleap - If you dominate this region, you may immediately move any number of your figures from this region to one adjacent region.
The Border Princes: Skulltaker - All enemy figures that are killed in this region are placed on this card. These figures count toward your domination value. At the start of the end phase, remove these figures from the board.

Playing the Hornet Rat leads to some really difficult choices. I thought it took a lot of planning ahead to play Tzeentch, but that's nothing compared to this.

    Assuming he summons his third Daemonette to The Empire and controls the Acolyte;

    12 VP
    +4 Dominate Kislev
    +5 Dominate Empire
    +3 Ruiner's Kislev
    +4 Ruiner's Empire
    +8 First place Kislev
    +6 Second place Empire

Though if Nurgle scores a hit and kills any cultist there, it won't Ruin.

Nurgle's Quest feels like a play-this-very-late card with all the setup it takes to get really effective.

Edit: as in, during a later round, like 4 or 5.

Nurgle's Quest feels like not worth playing at all. I can't think of many situations where throwing away 4 power for one dial tick is worth it, especially for the god with the weakest dial.

I do agree with the Horned One though that Khorne should be picking on other people and not me! I'm not sure why I'm the threat at last place with no units at any ruining regions. If you're going for dial ticks why not the bloodthirster to The Empire? More region coverage, more targets, higher threat of winning.

I think the Skaven are on track for a dial victory on turn 5. Someone will probably get a VP victory before that though.
