I have a pile of DVDs I don't want or need anymore so I'm wondering what the best way is to get of them for the most value.
My considerations thus far:
Ebay market value on dvd's tends to be pretty low, or at least a far cry from retail prices.
Also, selling each one individually is a lot of work for such little payoff.
I could sell in bulk, but then your value is still less because how rare would it be to find a buyer who wants EXACTLY the titles you've offered in the particular bundle?
I can take them in as Previously Viewed's to a place like Blockbuster... is there any place that gives you cash?
BB gives you the credit on a gift card that you can use towards rentals... can you purchase movies from them with it too?
your best bet is to probably trade them into EBStop.
DVDs are so mass-produced that they're not really worth reselling much. Unless you have a collector's edition or a limited edition of a movie, it's pratically worthless for resale, because your DVD has thousands of copies of itself sitting out on the shelves.
I don't know if this involves all EB Games/Gamestop stores but here they only trade DVD's in for in-store credit now. When they did trade them in for cash it was reduced by 20%.

A bunch are DVDs I want to upgrade to the better versions (usually 2 disc or remastered or whatever)...
I'll probably take them into BB then, it'll be easy enough too.
