Just S-Ranked Without a Fight and Jumpin' Jack Flash on Hard Rock mode. Dear lord. Fingers in such pain... Hurt so good. Also, am I the only person who's given up entirely on the DSLite stylus? Right now I use a plastic mechanical pencil with all the lead stolen.
Also: This game has stolen my soul and all fragments within.

I don't have a problem with hand cramps (I've got the old Phat stylus), but there seems to be more "you can't see shit because your hand is in the way" moments in EBA, so I'm considering buying something closer to regular pen size.
I'm replaying the game from Breezing to Hard Rock with Kahn, just like I did with Ouendan.
Also like I did with Ouendan, I'm updating the high score wiki after I beat each difficulty. So far I'm through Breezin' and Crusin', and I managed to get in the top five on every song. So if there's anyone still playing this game, there's some new competition!
Man, I havent checked the scoreboard in a couple of weeks. Needless to say I am sad to see about half my scores that were clinging to the 5th spot are gone now I dont know if I have the energy to go back and try to increase them enough.
P.S. BTP, I seem to have added your Wii, but you havent added me back
It's the first DS game that I felt compelled to do everything possible in (beat all difficulties, unlock all bonus songs, get A's (or S) on each song).
You should scream OUENDAN with all your heart, then.
Help will come.
IF that doesn't work, then persevere.
I'm usually terrible in this kind of game, but I've beaten all songs in both games in all difficulties. And now I'm S-Ranking them all. I just can't stop playing these games.

Hey! That worked! I just beat JJF on Sweatin' and unlocked Hard Rock and the Divas! Woo!
Now to beat Hard Rock mode!
....if i can...
Also, I have had some trouble seeing what I'm doing, and I just noticed that some of you guys are using pencils (without lead) and such to play. Cheaters! No, I'm kidding. I need to try doing that. It would help me a lot.
Meh. Not only is it fantastically late, but Ramsoomair has already made his one allotted Hitler joke.
...and the previous one was a lot funnier.

So I got the game last saturday, and I beat Jumpin Jack Flash on Thursday evening on Hard Rock (and Survivor the next day, to get the unlock).
God I love this game. I'm trying to get my scores up now.
I find Hard Rock easier on the later songs, however. Anyone else notice that? The shorter pop-up time means I don't have a flood of beats to decipher which to hit next.

I really need to get back into this game. I started on the easiest setting and made it up to the final level. In that level, I would make it up to the third stage, but never passed it. I kept getting closer and closer, and then my batteries died.
After I charged them, I just started playing Meteos like crazy. This summer, I'm going to make EBA mine!

There's really no trick to it, you just gotta keep practicing. When I first got Ouendan I struggled through the first difficulty, but now I can play EBA on hard rock.
So I beat JFF today on Sweatin' with an A. Towards the end my score was bringing on death and I just cooled off and got constant 300s near the last 15 seconds on the game and beat it.

Not to mention it's incredibly half-assed. It's JUST like the previous Hitler joke. He needs help and some pop culture character known for helping people refuses. Hahaha...no.
I can't stand how screwed up the whole comic is. The "problem" Hitler had was stupid, and there was no build-up. Off the top of my head, it would have been funnier to have Hitler in his infamous bunker screaming for help from the Allied forces.
And EVERY PERSON SAYS H-E-A-L-P. Yes, I play this game way too much.
I just played EBA for the first time the other day. It is stupidly easy compared to Ouendan and I don't really like the music. Do you think Ouendan just spoiled me?

What difficulty/song did you play?
Several songs on a couple difficulties. The difference on standard difficulty was the easiest to notice. It seems like they just made it a lot harder to fail a song.

Everything I hear tells me EBA is a lot more difficult overall than Ouendan, but that some find EBA easier because the songs might be more recognizable, and you're more likely to get a feel for a song you've heard before.
Also, EBA is naturally going to start off smoother because you've played and gotten used to the style in Ouendan.

It's like going from Guitar Hero to Guitar Hero II. I started out with a lot of challenge and difficulty with GH1, on med/hard/expert. But then having 5-starred nearly every song in Guitar Hero 1, I picked up guitar hero II and promptly 5 or 4-starred probably a little over half the songs on my first try. However, everyone pretty much agrees that GHII is a harder game than GH1, especially the people who haven't "gotten used" to the games.

EBA is easier in a sense, but only in the sense that Ouendan was broken.
The spinners in EBA, especially if you cut your teeth on Ouendan, are far easier to manage. The game is also a lot better at following the rhythm than Ouendan was, which more often laid a beat over the rhythm. Ouendan 2 will probably be more similar to EBA, if Yano's comments at GDC hold true.
I actually think You're the Inspiration is one of the easier songs in the game. It's one of the few I've S ranked on Hard Rock. Part of it is that the twinkly sound made by the beats helps me keep my rhythm correctly.

The only song I really can't stand is ABC, and that has less to do with the song and more to do with it being the world's shittiest cover.
How is Lunar Knights?? i havent heard much talk about it here on the boards, and im considering getting it, but id like to hear some opinions.
I know is off topic, but this seems to be only DS related active thread, and my question doesnt deserve a new thread. :P

Such a great game.
Jumpin Jack Flash is by far the most fun for me.
I then beat my score with an A the next run through.
How cool is that???
Is there anything like it in Ouendan?

I use the Hori (dis)confort pen thing. It's nice.
And IT'S NOT LEAD INSIDE A PENCIL, IT'S GRAPHITE.
It's still called pencil lead.
After I charged them, I just started playing Meteos like crazy. This summer, I'm going to make EBA mine!
Send a pm my way if you're interested.
I Know, I'm making fun of the silly americans.
Yeah, lead, hehehehe.
