In Britain, I watch Mock The Week, Have I Got News For You, Russel Howard's Good News and Listen to The Now Show and that Mock News Thing for my election information.
They eat it and digest it and excrete content I can actually understand and find interesting.
(1) It's impossible to get a negative score. It's akin to the "like" button on Facebook. If other players don't have anything nice to give, then they can't give at all.
(2) The general matchmaking community, in my experience, is one of the better ones online -- friendly (see: "glhf"), anonymizing (players usually refer to each other by their selected character for that match, not the visible account name), and supportive in-game and out- (besides the vast number of fanmade guides online, I've frequently seen players offering each other helpful advice (with varying degrees of politeness)). Of course, I've only been playing LoL a few times a week for little more than a year. I may have to cede the point to the guy making a blanket statement with his five minutes of experience.
I would almost watch the Canadian debates if they offered something like that. I would turn it on and then switch my TV back to cable and wait two hours to go back on my xbox.

Indeed! That's why I said "somehow get a negative score", implying that the LoL community's negativity would mystically find a way.

We totally respect that the LoL community is vast and complex, and there are many awesome people within it. Buuuuuuut an argument has to be made that it can very daunting for new players, and—let's be honest—there's a lot of dickwads too.
Fair point though.

LoL is a MOBA. If you play a MOBA, you need to adjust your expectations accordingly. People are going to be cranky about a half-hour commitment that can be won or lost based on the performance of a single player. The teabagging trash-talking douchebag who brags about his KDR is going be that much more obnoxious about it.
Yeah, league's community is crap. People don't understand that they have to shift their focus from winning if the going gets impossible. Start improving your game or teaching other players stuff in a nice way. That said, it's almost impossible to work with those people, so good luck.
I think it's funny when people actually try to defend LoL's community. I love the game, have spent most of my paychecks on it (oh the irony) and still must admit that the community, in general, sucks.
On another note, gameplay is fantastic, an A+! Yet even still, the "homescreen" interface which uses Java or creatively alternately named (sarcasm) Adobe Air is awful, and NOT a good idea. Not to mention each of their chatrooms only support a maximum of 200 players (of which there are 4), and their servers are about as great as Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare II... and if you thought those were "good" you probably need a re-evaluation of the term "good".
Additionally, for those of you unaware, or for anyone who didn't actually read the patch/update notes, there are plans in the future for Honor to be used as some sort of supplemental purchasing power. It is likely however that you will need impossible amounts to actually do anything with it as these points are fairly limited.
In regards to the Killzone backups... Go THAT nerd! People have been harping on hoarders for a long time now... Touché!
Sad truth about LoL is that is is a giant rip off of Dota. From corkie being a rip off of gyrocopter to the most recent honor points rip off from Dota. The real question is will the honor points be worth anything (and i dont mean shiny new avatars). In Dota2 the intend to use them to budget just "how" free to play dota will be. I hope this is the direction LoL takes.......even if it is just riping them off more.
PS: not here to start a flame war between Dota and LoL i love them both.
At any rate spot on on all counts checkpoint. Keep it up your show is tons of fun.
I have a confession to make: I actually watch the Canadian federal election debates. I even watch the translation of the french one on english CBC.
I feel like I should apologize for some reason. How quintessentially Canadian.
d worst thing of all is dat is true i play league of legends n if i get a honor point is for team work, most of the time dey leave me alone while dey all go to d top i stay down and defend n i always get killed and at the end i save dere butt
weeel i gues justin bieber special move is gonna be ooo baby baby bay ugggh as he throws up on d floor making the other players slip on puke

I'm Canadian and I pay more attention to American politics than Canadian. I don't think I've watched more than five minutes total of Canadian political debates, while I usually make a point of watching the American presidential debates start to finish, or at least large chunks. I suppose it's like paying more attention to a train wreck than a car crash.

Anyone else having trouble watching?
I'm getting this: for the video (but not the whole webpage)
in the FUTURE.... we are still making more Battlefield and Call of Duty

Report is the negative scoring.
