Hey art and design thread! You know what's really cool? Asian advertising design from the 60's (and 50's and 70's are pretty rad too). You can get whole books on the stuff in fact. Like this set of books devoted to Children's Advertising Design in the Showa Era in Japan. There are at least two books and they're awesome.

I picked up the 2 disc special edition digipak version of Devin Townsend's "Epicloud" album about a month ago, and found the packaging and artwork to be spectacular.

okay I just read the wikipedia page (why haven't I done that before?) this guy sounds like Grizzly Man but badass
