That or frustrations on his part. He was saying something about straight men earlier that made me think that might be the case. Still, I'm wondering if it's that or if he's having some sort of identity issue given the topics he's been rather animated about lately.

I want to say a few weeks ago I believe. I know he had posted in a [chat] thread that he had come out to his mother and that her reaction wasn't necessarily negative but wasn't positive either as I recall.

Well infractions expire in 2 months for a minor one and three months for a serious infraction, so I am not exactly sure. At the rate he is going though, it won't matter. He was back, what, 2 hours and he is banned again.
You should get her something of high quality. A really nice, mahogany box, lacquered and properly cured, with silver trim and small gemstones inlaid, and platinum gilding; well-varnished all over, and inside, a fine felt layer around the hole in the base.
