Meetup for Bronies at PAX East
Hi, everyone!
I am a big fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and I do self-identify as a "brony". While my local meetup group here in Boston is having a PAX meet, I'm thinking about doing an even bigger meet with all of the bronies and pegasisters from both New England and outside the New England area for a huge meet. I know this will likely be a large logistical challenge, depending on how we do this, but are there others here interested in collaborating to create the best PAX East meet for bronies ever?

That aside, if you need help with meet-up space, HH is usually good for it.
We will meetup on Friday at 4pm-6pm in the Handheld Lounge. Just to say hi for a bit and get to know each others favorite ponies. I know I'll be giving away some pony swag and I might even do some pony sketches or something. Anyway just thought I'd mention it here.
4pm Friday. That is when the PAX Pokémon League will be in the Handheld Lounge. They'll also be there 4pm Saturday and 2pm Sunday.
That's where I'll be. It's one of THE things I go to PAX East for. (I'll be the Team Rocket Grunt with a yellow labrador puppet. Carry, my puppet, is with me at every con I go to. I've had him for over a decade. People actually recognize him before they recognize me.)
Good to hear, I'll be sure to stop by probably in the later half of the meetup if there are still people around. There's a panel I want to attend that will keep me occupied until five.
I think Saturday is the best day for a meet, personally. I'll get in touch with the local bronies so that we can organize a huge gathering somewhere.
Brohoofs coming your way. look out for either a 11th doctor or just some geek wearing a stargate jacket. Also, I remember seeing a Vinyl Scratch cosplay last year. wanted to show some friends of mine but looks like nobody had a camera while they were around. Makes me feel guilty for shying away and keeping my camera holstered.
And if you are still planning on meeting at the Handheld Lounge at 4pm on Friday or Saturday, that is when the PAX Pokémon League takes over that area. Also at 2pm on Sunday.

First off I am new to this forum so hey guys you excited for PAX East next week?? Boston is my hometown and I am very excited our city is hosting this event again!
Our meetup group Boston Bronies is looking to put together a large MLP meetup with our fellow Bronies traveling in from across the country. I understand there is possibly one meetup on Friday night at 4:00 in the handheld gaming area, but we are looking to put together some console gaming tournaments for Friday and Saturday night for anyone interested in joining us. I will be donating some MLP prizes to the winners but donations are appreciated as well if anyone would like to add to the prize pool.
Saturday we are also planning on meeting up for lunch and drinks either in the food court or possibly MJ O'Connor's in the evening after the main show winds down. More details can be found at our meetup
Please comment here or email me if you wish to join us for tournament play as I will be putting together a signup sheet. Some games we have in mind include Super Smash Bros Brawl, Halo 4, and Gears of War: Judgment.

The meetup on Friday at 4PM should only last like an hour or less, nothin' huge. If you plan to visit for some pony swag or talk about the show, look for the hispanic dude wearing a white Penny Arcade hoodie and/or PAX East scarf. I will also be carrying my black sketchbook. c:
How about Mario Party or something fun like that? Just fun things that even the beginners have a fighting chance at. But still, it is all in good fun.
Not sure if you've seen the welovefine booth but they have a lot there. I need to avoid that booth for the rest of the weekend or I'll end up broke.
