Not exactly sure of the quote (it has been a number of years).
Maybe it's the bottom half.
...my co-workers shot me funny glances when I just squee'd out loud at work.
You'd better believe it!
also does this mean more podcasts in the future? i miss them, i listened to them about 50 times
"I don't want the world, I just want your half"
I don't think anyone really cares about canon or the exact continuity of this.
Or at least Mike and Jerry don't.
Shortest adventure ever!
I thought I knew my PA stuff rather well, but I have NO FUCKING CLUE what this Acquisitions Inc. thing is supposed to be, and why you guys all sound so excited about it.
What did I miss here? Please?
Mike, Jerry, Scott, and Wil Wheaton's Dungeons and Dragons characters? They did a bunch of podcasts and now they livestream their games every PAX? Ring any bells?
She says "that I need", not "that needs." "Acquired" is correct.
Mike tweeted a couple of days ago that this was their longest storyline yet.
maybe ever other comic
No. I have no interest whatsoever in D&D, I'm here for the comic and the video game content.
But thanks for telling me.
(Forsooth.)
I would strongly recommend giving them a listen. I had no interest whatsoever in D&D either til I listened to Gabe play his first game.
Hell even if you never plan to play they're absolutely hilarious.
Well, there's something I won't be able to unsee.
Same - Gabe's conviction that owls will "eat the teeth right out of your head and fly away, they don't even care" had me on the floor. And that's in like the first 5 minutes.
Love it. I think the dissertation on chitinous carapaces was their master work. Although that was a different party.
You beat me to it! :-D

I'm so happy this is a thing that is happening!
Wherefore art thou, Al?
I think he means that if it were "something that needs... ...acquiring," there wouldn't be the opening for the confusing misread. Which I guess would then open it up to the misread that she already has the thing in question, but whatever, this isn't a very interesting avenue of discussion.
your = belonging to you
their = belonging to them
there = not here
they're = they are
