It's just such an idiotic and childish issue. You can have male heroes who are demons like Hellboy or have disfigured bodies like Spawn and no one bats an eye. But have a female hero who deviates from the western ideal of sexuality and beauty and people complain like they're being forced to masturbate to these characters.

I always figured it was just that She-Hulk didn't change
She had a healthy enough psyche that Hulk and Jennifer live together like a normal person is able to reconcile parts of their personality
Bruce is just all kinds of fucked up
Nah, Jen is a pretty quiet, reserved lady and She-Hulk is where she cuts loose and is outgoing and spontaneous. She actually prefers being She-Hulk versus Jen Walters.
Betty, on the other hand, is kinda like Bruce where she Hulks out when provoked. But she de-Hulks whenever she's scared, so she has a very brash, arrogant attitude most of the time so she can stay Hulk-y.

Nah, she's always been able to swap between forms, as far as I know. Like I said, she just prefers being She-Hulk and there isn't too much incentive to be Jen Walters a lot of the time.
She's almost always been able to switch, she just rarely did because she prefers being She-Hulk
