Hello Everyone!
While it's a bit too early to release all the details for the 4th annual Pokecrawl, I need to poke my head in for a couple reasons.
1. At last year's TWDT, I used Eventbrite to handle registration. It worked beautifully so I will be going with the same system for the Pokecrawl. Registration isn't open yet but you can check out the event page for more details.

2. This year we will need to fill a few holes in our volunteer staff. We have positions open in every group. Obviously I prefer volunteers who have helped out with or attended previous events but if you are interested in helping out in any way please PM me.

Tough, I'm going to anyway - what is the difference between the various options (silver/gold) - and is the name Pokecrawl just a fun name, or is knowledge and/or ownership of Pokemon required?
Theme: Don't sweat knowing anything about Pokemon, just realize there will be plenty of Pokemon during the crawl. If you can get into the spirit of it, all the better.
Silver vs Gold - essentially the difference is who you drink with. For last year i was blue silver so for the first and last bar we drank with blue gold. Bars 2-4 were yellow, green and red silver respectively. You cross pathes with gold while walking but wouldnt be drinking with them as silver (minus your teams gold group). This is done mainly to just get us drinking with different people and prevent trying to mob a bar with 200 people to say have blue and reds full teams drink together. At 100 people a clip these bars get quite crowded (had 0 problems getting drinks or getting around though).
Also no no knowledge or ownership of pokemon is required although it doesnt hurt to have some. The overall night is pokemom themed so some ppl dress up as you can see the yellow team had some a bit further up in this thread and the activites themselves are just a themed drinking game. The requirements as i recall are pretty much come to have fun and leave your asshole pants at home (which does include preferably knowing your limits).
Or maybe I will order one of those awesome Pokehats.

For the children. Honest. There's a small entry fee, and each team usually auctions off stuff, all of the proceeds going to Child's Play. You don't hate children, do you? You'd be a heartless bastard not to sign up!
