Getting audio out of an Adobe presentation file
Hello friend H/A forum!
This semester I have an online class that has its own style of lectures and such in the form of an adobe presentaion with slides and audio. The slides are provided for download, but not the audio lecture. This is something of an issue as she takes them down after a week. I was wondering if there was a way I can get these audio files out of the presentation somehow, as it would really help with studying for tests. I've been doing the notes thing, but that can only help so much. My professor has no opinion on this topic and has told me "This is how I present this class" but I see no difference between this and say, recording a lecture in an actual live class.
Any help would be greatly appricated.
Thanks.

When audio files are not available for download, you can sometimes record the audio straight from your computer using the stereo mix.
So if you activate say Windows sound recorder and then set the recording to record "stereo mix" under your windows volume control, you should be able to record the audio of the lecture.
Another alternative is to get the feed from your speakers to be recorded into an external device. Unfortunately, I'm not really an audio guy, so I can't give much more advice than this.

It acts like an additional (software) sound card, so even if the stream is protected in some way you can just send the output to Total Recorder in the Sound settings in Control Panel.
I particularly like that it prompts you for the audio file codec as part of the save process, in case you need a MP3, OGG, or whatever.
