I did an 1100 calorie workout today. I usually try to eat about 1700-1800 calories a day.

When I was being more careful about it I was consuming 1850 net calories per day and losing about a pound and a half a week when I was about 240-250 pounds, I dropped weight pretty consistently on that for a few months until I stopped doing it
Note that that was after exercise had been taken into account, so on a day where I exercised more I might have had something extra to compensate (more like the other way around)
