Tetris Attack Tournament?

I saw that there was one last year, and I can't find a thread about this. I looked through the Tournament threads I could find, but saw nothing about SNES or Tetris Attack. I am very interested in participating in the tournament this year. Can anyone tell me what format will be played or on what day the tournament will take place? Thanks!

I haven't seen any console or handheld tournament info crop up yet. I hope it will get posted soon, but nothing yet.
