So I finished writing up a level 10/11 3.5 D&D Gestalt Adventure, and since I'd be running it with my local gaming group I figured I could tell [chat] about it to see if it's any good!
So the players are at a festival in a town, which is suddenly attacked by an archmage with a grudge! They fight him for a while, until he gets pissed off and tries to cast an Intensified Meteor Swarm. This fails and he blows up. Upon inspecting the remnants of his "spellbook", they realise he was just a rogue using Use Magic Device to cast from scrolls. No time for speculation though, the guard turn up and arrest the players because reasons!
Well they're not actually arrested, they're just bring brought to the mayor, who is in need of help: Someone kidnapped her younger brother! A letter pegs them to either smugglers or corrupt town guards, while ominously foreshadowing a sect of Nerull worshippers whose high priest went missing a century ago.
Investigating the letter, they can either find a guy in the underworld or uncover a crooked cop and get the location of the smugglers, an abandoned warehouse by the docks. If they kick in the door, that sets off traps and alarms and they'll have a tougher fight of it, but it's possible to sneak their way inside, though they'll fight some of the exotic creatures these guys are smuggling, along with a Soulbow Sniper and a Wererat Swordsage. Rescuing the brother, they'll discover another letter telling them to meet the High Priest at one of the town's temples, formerly one of Nerull.
Going to the temple they discover...the Mayor! However in a Return of the Joker style twist, it turns out she was given a mystical amulet which was the holy symbol of the high priest and contained his soul, and has been possessing her nocturnally. He - for he was a man - needed the brother so a sacrifice ritual would bind his soul permanently and allow him to worship Nerull. This is where a fight with a fellow Cleric//Paladin of Slaughter and some Mummies begins, while the High Priest kidnaps one of the party because they're compatible. They find a secret place where the ritual is ongoing and fight the High Priest, really a Sorcerer//Favored Soul. He's tough, but there's a cheat: The "Archmage"'s book had a scroll of Disjunction, which they could cast on the amulet robbing it of power, or just manage to break it. That doesn't end the threat just yet: His vengeful ghost continues spell slinging until banished to the lower planes once and for all.
So how's that? Too much for one adventure? Not enough roleplaying potential?

Geth, roll 1d20+15 for Will Save against Anime
Maybe he has an injured leg that was once broken by some nefarious being and now he hobbled around, spreading the gospel
not enough goat sacrifices.
He used to be a Ranger but he took an arrow in the knee.
Sadly, this was a DC25 roll.
You fail and succumb to anime.

That and normal seem like there are no differences or at least very close.
Also when I get to the end do I get a score multiplier bonus.

See also: race mixing is communism, people opposed to giving women the vote, &c.
also I started coming up with some flavour-bites for the AW game that slowly congealed into an idea for something akin to a post-apocalyptic Pacific Northwest, where the ghost-firs and their ivory needles rustle in the wind and their bark flakes off like ash
may need further thought/wait and see what you jerks come up with

I will try to give this serious thought tonight. Hmm.
I spent much of yesterday reading Marvel Heroic* and Warbirds**. Scheduling of any new games is going to be the big trick.
