Perseverance of BeetleJuice cosplay

Soo... for those who didn't attend PAX PRIME or didn't see him, BeetleJuice was there and he even was in full character. Unfortunately the timing cannot be worse; my friend overheard him saying to his colleague "Man, I think I need to change my costume. I'm getting tired of these Miley Cyrus jokes". Though the ridicule went on, he still was in character even when trying to order food at the bar at Gameworks. Mad props to him.

Guilty of making Miley Cyrus jokes when I saw him.

Guy: "Hey, look! It's Beetlejuice!"
My BF: "Are you sure that's not Robin Thicke?"
Me: " Yeah, he needs a girl cosplaying as Miley Cyrus with him."
Guy: "Wow, that would be the best cosplay ever."

Here's the thing though: recognizing that the whole twerking video phenomenon is REALLY recent and pop-culturally current, he can get mad at it or he could'a gone with it.

Personally, I think it would have been a) Hilariously clever and b) more likely to get his cosplay more post-PAX Attention as the photos circulated, if he did. Especially if it was in-character Beetlejuice with Miley. I would have laughed my shit off if somebody did that.

The real Beetlejuice would've done it.

Speaking as said Beetlejuice, I felt that the B-man would be upset with someone imitating his style, and I played it accordingly.
