Lazy office [Chat]ter goofing off with internet

edited April 2007 in Debate and/or Discourse
He hurried home. He was late to dinner at his own apartment. The march wind blew into his eyes and made them water.

The fire engines were lined up outside his building.

What?

The lieutenant explained to him that some newspaper in a wastebasket had likely been in contact with the radiator in the dining area. A malfunction in the radiator had caused it to over heat, igniting the paper, the curtains and the rest of the apartment. Catherine hugged him as he watched the flames. Luckily she'd been late as well and hadn't yet arrived at his apartment either.

He didn't keep the wastebasket in his dining area.

The situation had escalated.

Icy water closed over Coldred's head.

Sounds horrible to me, although the Roots sampled "You and Whose Army" to pretty good effect.

Just 3 percent of the public self-identifies as atheist, suggesting that the term may carry some stigma. Still, the poll suggests that the public’s tolerance of this small minority has increased in recent years. Nearly half (47 percent) of the respondents felt the country is more accepting of atheists today that it used to be and slightly more (49 percent) reported personally knowing an atheist.

I get the impression this poll was taken at or near Bob Jones University; which, I might add, is a total waste of the acronym BJ-U.

    YES.

Also, the Aussie in the first vid is totally opening the banana the wrong way. Nonretarded people use the stem as a handle and pinch the tip top to open.
