Seriously though...am i over reacting? Am i right to be disgusted? Its easy to say "who cares" But I feel like if the people who believe in common sense don't speak up, the INSANE crazies will! And they will end up getting their way.

Its more than this. Its just the lack of common sense. In Oregon a deaf kid got in trouble because his name is Hunter and to sign his name he makes a gun symbol with his hand. He was told that violated the no weapons policy. In MA, a class had a day to decorate a hat. One child made a hat to support his father over seas while he was deployed. The had had some green army men glued to the brim and was cameo colored. He was sent home because the Guns in the Army mens hands violated the no weapon policy. Where are the ridiculous policies coming from? how are they continued to be supported? Are the majority of people really this dumb?

Approaching this topic from a completely serious standpoint, everyone is offended by something, and while you are offended by these pictures of a dead baby, other people may be offended by your side-boob. Both parties have the right to report these pictures as making them uncomfortable.

I do think that perhaps your reaction is a little strong, not because of how offended you are by it, but because you've somehow taken the posting of two pictures to be representative of all of American society. I guess that's why you came to post on these forums to see how other people responded, which is fine, but you did sensationalize the story in how it was presented to us.
