do you happen to know if there's a keyboard shortcut for either iTunes 11 or Mac OS X (dunno which version) that basically scans for new hardware?
At work, I have to perform factory resets on the various apple products - iPads, iPods, iPhones - and, while iTunes claims they'll automatically show back up, they rarely do, which means I have to manually disconnect and reconnect them. I'm hoping there's a faster way, as this is relatively slow and sorta annoying.
