And if you doubt me on that last one, you have never seen the Memphis Tekken crew pile out of a car and enter a videogame establishment holding a Tekk tourney. You don't know whether they are about to shoot a rap video or stick the place up.
Usually they settle for Lil Majin taking 1st place.

Sev: Your gameplay is the most heavily yomi based around. Usually you look for characters that allow you to force guessing situations for big dmg. Even if the guess is mathematically nowhere near in your favor lol. You're happiest when you have either a 50/50, 33/33/33 or even a 75/25 situation to go crazy with. And you will take big risks to force those situations to come up.

I also find the idea of a "judo club" clique highly dubious, C- needs improvement

Maybe not in the US, but back home when I was in the Philippines my whole social circle (edit: In high school) was the judo club and we all played SF.
Edit 2: I do realize that my high school experience was far from common amongst the people reading this forum.

TR replaces TTT2 at every tournament. Vampire lady is top tier so everyone plays her. Knob retires from fighting games to pursue a career in horse fucking.
