Actor Peter O'Toole died peacefully Saturday in a hospital, his agent Steve Kenis said Sunday. O'Toole was 81 years old.

    I remember the first time I saw Lawrence of Arabia. It was one of the most moving things I'd ever seen, and it was entirely based on O'Toole's performance.

    Man this is depressing news. He was one of the actors that got me into Shakespeare, I remember my highschool english teacher showed us film of him on stage. I shall rewatch Laurence of Arabia immediately.

    I've never seen him in anything other than Lawrence of Arabia, which features a lot of actors who are extremely good and also dead, including Alec Guinness and Anthony Quinn
