    I think I have a drug problem.

Or at least an energy drink addiction that doesn't play very well with my Ritalin.

    Sounds rough.

I uhh... I had left my burner on on my stove for almost an hour.

No wonder I was kinda loopy?

Anyway it is alphatesting hours right now, time to test an alpha.

    What is it?

this article explains it far better than I could

    Fuck you guy

I hope steam sales are terrible for you and you don't make a fucking cent on that game

I haven't caught up yet but I feel the need to point out that this game doesn't even address castle doctrine in any real way because you can't legally booby trap your house. It's a very limited self defense idea.

So Kevin McAllister is a convicted felon?

Yeah you really want to watch out and not overstimulate if you're on prescription meds like that.

Not only is the high bad for you but the crash is really really nasty.

I'm really worried if I don't change this I'm going to have a heart attack soon. No one needs 4 16 OZ Amps everyday mixed with 30MG of Ritalin to stay functional. That's around 570MG of caffeine.

Yeah I mean him being a minor would change a lot of stuff but those dudes could certainly pursue legal action.

Maybe him being a kid they couldn't I'm not sure.

Jesus, yeah. You should try to wean yourself off of that. That can't be good for your health Death of Rats.

I have a friend that drinks an energy drink every morning, personally I can't stand the stuff because of the taste. Coffee is just so much tastier. Though, I am not against chugging one for a dumb night of fun like at a LAN party or something.

The really crazy part is that I've actually cut down a good bit since I started taking the Ritalin (which I'm prescribed at this dosage). I use to do the caffeine as a self medication, hoping to stop once on an actual stimulant, but god damn is it hard to kick this.

    No I don't.

They've been publishing Magic novels for almost as long as it's been around. There's a storyline everytime a new block is introduced.

    Also they're making a movie.

I hope the movie isn't about the lore but a coming of age movie set in the mid 90's where a group of freshmen grow close over the course of a summer through their interest in MtG. They have to overcome their issues with their parents and siblings with the help of one another until one ends up dead because of an accident. They try to keep playing, but as a group they decide that they want to move on from the game since it doesn't feel right without their friend. The last scene is each placing their collection of cards in their friend's casket. Before the end credits it has an epilogue showing all of the friends grown up enjoying eachother's company with their families fifteen years after the incident. One of their kids (named after the dead friend) is shown with a deck and the credits roll.

The movie is gonna be about the Lorwyn planeswalkers teaming up to beat up Nicol Bolas and going to some popular planes and hey he's summoning a card I remember.

Also there's no way it's gonna be good.

Yeah, well I want a modern day Sandlot or Stand By Me or My Girl or Now and Then that I can watch with my daughter and go "hey, yeah, that's the idealistic version of the 90's!"

The 90s are still too recent to have a good period movie that really captures it from a kid's perspective.

I mean we just recently got Super 8 and that was that but for the 70s/early 80s.

    Also super 8 sucked

I disagree with this pretty strongly!

I have trouble taking Rohrer seriously because he doesn't understand economics.

Edit: Oh, there are 5 more pages. Whoops. Pretend this post was about MTG. Uhhhh Tap that... Land Mana?

I am unreasonably worried that the Persona 5 soundtrack won't be any good

I have no reason for this concern but it's still a huge concern for me

perhaps I need more problems in my life

I wasn't too interested in The Castle Doctrine but then I read that thing about the wife in it and is it possible to be negative interested in something

Jason Rohrer kinda sounds like a jerk in the things I've heard about him.

if it's exactly the same as P4 mechanics wise I'll take it

and I can't see them regressing from there!

also I care way more about the design stuff and music than I do the gameplay which is weird to admit but here we are
