Monica is drawing trenches and another strip beside phuzzy. Alex just got a job with the CIA so hes gonna be off schedule for a bit
Actually the big thing is she's now a coloring artist for a show on nickalodeon iirc, she posted it when she mentioned updates were going to be sparse for a long time.
I went to Ava's Demon's vimeo page for the plan, and I figured out the powers of two guys, and a little more about Nevy Nerine, but I'm still at a loss for the King's power or the last female.
But of the two other gentlemen.
One weaves dolls and the other makes crystals with ghosts.
I think everyone has pixies in their cabinets as well.
Is VG Cats the one that did the mech stomping a village talking about liberating the shit out of it? I was really into Battletech when I saw that and it was like a perfect WoB Jihad comic.
Twas Chrome Hounds.
While VG cats is basically dead, and has been shit for years, this is one of the good ones.
It could do to lose a couple panels, but the punchline is solid.
I like how he calls the obviously coniferous tree a birch.
Lets take a moment to analyze why this is such a pleasant comic.
Row 1: The setup, we get the mech, the country, the buildings, the people, and trees
Row 2: the joke, we see the mech explain liberate each of the things seen in the opening shot. Each shot has the joke with a different character and has the mech act differently in each panel. The background also changes even if it is the same background from the first row, Rooms has shifted it enough to make it seem different. The mech even gains eyebrows by the end.
Row 3: Surprise! and sarcasm.
Each row escalates the plot, each step to the right, a normal step to the right, elevates the joke. Till it all pays off in the end. Each panel builds something new to the joke and nothing is wasted or superfluous. Taking a single panel away lessens the joke, anything more is unnecessary.
This is the point where I compare Rooms' gamecube comic with Buckly's xbox 360 comic where they have the same plot but I'm not that tolerant of CAD, Rooms did it first and did it better because he had a long standing tradition of Humanizing the simple console shape.
I've seen a lot of shit on these boards, and after being told I was screwing up the gender pronouns several times in a row, I'm believing everything even though there is no logical reason I could understand a web comic artist working for the CIA. I'm wrong, ya'll are right end of story.

edit:
if these are real as the author claims, this is still one of my favorite webcomics
