When I was a kid my parents took us on road trips to Albuquerque, NM and Santa Rosa, CA. We went to Santa Rosa a handful of times. This means that we stopped at just about any city with a major landmark on the way. I'm not going to list the cities, but it's a lot of fucking cities.
Seattle, WA
Bellevue, WA
San Francisco, CA
Los Angeles, CA
Orlando, FL
Whatever city in Florida my mom's parents have their winter home in
Boulder isn't that bad. I say this having mostly grown up in not-Boulder Colorado, in which town everybody makes fun of Boulder.
maybe the exaggerations just made the reality less crazy.

If that's all there is my friends, then let's keep dancing
I have lived in:
Manila, Philippines - where I was born and where I lived my childhood.
South Korea somewhere - family lived there for two years, don't remember much
Upstate New York - for a year, kinda boring
Various parts of Maryland - my formative years. Lived in assisted housing in Laurel for a few, then moved on up to nice suburbs. Will always be home sweet home.
near Philadelphia, PA - for college, good times.
Have gone on extended vacations/frequent trips to:
New York City - bunch of friends live there
Canada - nice place, super nice people
Boston
Japan a few times - aunt has a teeny tiny place in Tokyo, visited her twice. Magical.
Texas - vacationing
West Virginia - wow, so many funny, racist encounters the week I was there.
Orange County, CA - Disney every day for two weeks. Thank goodness for family.
and a bunch of other random states.

I've been, within the country:
New York (mostly Manhattan)
Various parts of California, focused around San Jose; also, California Adventures
All over Texas (my home state)
Florida (Disney World)
Georgia (mostly around Atlanta, where I used to live)
Minnesota (mostly Rochester, where I used to live)
Montana (mostly the Western corner near Yellowstone)
Wyoming (the part that's near the part of Montana I've been to)
Outside the country:
the Cayman Islands
Italy
Great Britain (mostly London, but also Canterbury)
And my trump card: I've been to Turkey. All over Turkey- from the wide straits of the Bosphorous, rimmed on every side by the ancient metropolis of Istanbul, to the wild deserts of the Cappadocia region, filled with chimneys of soft stone carved by rain and wind, littered with the hints of a subterranean world of villages and churches used by Christians at the dawn of their faith. I have sat in a Greek amphitheater nearly completely intact- and seen a show there. I have seen the famous dervishes- I have been to the tomb of their founder, Islam's greatest mystic.
And apparently this summer I'm going to France. Looking forward to that.
