The paper trail has the PSN account link button now... it is getting absolutely hammered by traffic though

Edit: Took 10 or so tries but I got it done.

So this game is one of the best looking games I've ever played. It puts me in a weird mental space, because as a PC gamer, I know my PC is capable of this and more, but on very few occasions do we actually see it even on the PC's incredible hardware. I have theories about this (mostly revolving around lowest common denominator situations), but it is what it is. Here's to hoping Second Son marks a break point where we'll start to see better looking games across the spectrum. I'm really excited to see what developers are capable of in a year or two, as they are able to take advantage of developing for a relatively unified architecture (if not set of API's) across the platforms.

Also is it possible to get both evil and good upgrades on the same run or do you get locked out of the other?

You are not locked out in theory. Enemies and civvies respawn, enabling you to swing the Karma meter back in the other direction. However you need to be at the required level of Karma to unlock powers, and so (not sure) it might be only feasible to unlock a total Karma set of powers.

I wish it were easier. . .I would love the time dilation of Neon (and the branching powers - Time Dilation resets out of a Neon Dash) on a Bad Karma run.

Beat it in the early morning hours, got all shards. Haven't marathoned a game like this in ages. Excellent game. Best in the series by a large margin. Wish they'd get Paper Trail working, though. I'm nearly out of things to do!

Through incredible persistence I was able to get my shit linked to Paper Trail.

So it might be worth trying to brute force it to link.

Blowing up D.U.P. Towers and walls never gets old. Also I sat down to play this for an hour this morning at 8 am and now it's almost 1pm?

Open world games don't usually grab me like this but I just love running around looking at the city.

I am suddenly envious of people that live in Seattle.

God can you imagine if the graphics are that good now, that you want to visit cities? It will be like the movie industry.

    Only works for some cities.

A realistic portrayal of Detroit would just scare the shit out of everyone.

When do agents, stencil arts and audio logs show up on your map? I see people with them on the map, but they don't show up for me. I can't get any more control of most of the districts I've cleared because I can't find those things.

My only disappointment is that it's going to take Rockstar how long to come out with their offering for the system. . .my hope is 2016 see's a return to Red Dead, but I'm not too optimistic.

At least then you wouldn't have to worry about realism, offending the population, or having the city turn to rubble by the end.

Just finished it off. Loving it. Last battle might have been a lot easier if my R1 button didn't keep sticking. Need to get that sorted out.
Wish I'd retrieved more blast shards before doing the last mission too, upgraded a few concrete powers when I was in the battle but didn't have to do anything massive upgrade wise.

You have to blow up the DUP command centers in the area (They're big truck-trailer type things on the first peninsula-y bit)

You should have to do one really early on, just after you cross the bridge into Seattle, they show up on your map as a rectangle with D.U.P in the middle

Cleared all the zones now, I've got it to the point where I'll need to switch over to a new game and play through as Evil to get the other trophies (apart from the comet drop trophies, they're alluding me a bit). Going to wait until I've got the Paper Trail stuff done before I switch though.

    For anyone worried about post-game:
You'll have D.U.P. raids on districts to contend with as well as the patrolling a.p.c.s moving around

So I answered my own question about the extra side mission markers.
You need to complete the initial "get three relays" mission before agents/stencils/logs/hidden cams open up, DUP mobile command or otherwise.

So I had a blast with this game, enjoyed every moment, from the different powers, the story (while predictable, was fun), the city, etc. My only complaints are I apparently accidentally shot down a drone unto the last boss area, and thus wasn't able to get it until the last thirty miniutes of the game. I guess my only complaint was how short the game was, it felt like I went through it too fast, and I even managed to 100% the game. Also,
I was really sad with how little time you have to play with the concrete powers, as they are a lot more fun they I thought it would be.

You get to use them all through post-game. I find they're ok in a battle situation but the vertical-traversal is dire. I'll usually get into a fight with D.U.P. with Video or Neon then when shit gets real, steal some Concrete off one of the bodies and bring the pain.

Whew finally linked my accounts for Paper Trail. Had to brute force the sucker for 15 minutes.

I guess the quest objective appears in-game now?

Edit: it helps to logon to PSN first in your current browser session, so that when the profile page on their ARG site finally loads you can just keep trying to submit the "link your account" link.

I still had to clear out a few zones and get some blast shards. Plus I found the raids entertaining to destroy with extreme prejudice. I suppose it's not as good as actual story missions but I enjoyed it.

Hopefully Sucker Punch will add some DLC, perhaps some of the conduits you let loose at the end cause trouble in Seattle and Delsin has to deal with them?

I actually think going to a different area might be fun too, but maybe too time consuming for a dlc. Maybe a new area of the city, a smaller part, or something like that?

    Also raids?

Yes, raids. After I'd cleared out all the sections of the city I kept getting pop-ups saying "D.U.P. is raiding [district]".

Go there, and you'll find the place is swarming with D.U.P. in the location where the command center used to be

I actually like the vertical traversal with concrete, because you don't need buildings. Boost jump with L1, then boost hover three times. If you're not where you need to be, land on something, jump off and boost hover again.

I mean, it's no video, for all your traversal needs, but it feels like old school InFamous.

So unfortunately, the Paper Trail stuff seems to be broken in such a way that it causes issues in the actual game too.

When you complete part one, it tries to connect to the paper trail website and the game has had absolutely no luck with that for me.

Started my evil play through on expert, going pretty well. Due to the fact I'm used to the control scheme and everything now I'm actually finding it a bit easier if anything, that and getting evil karma is so much easier when you just have to butcher civilians.

One thing I hadn't noticed before was that the lightbar on the DS4 changes with your alignment, white for neutral through to bright blue or bright red for hero and infamous respectively.

I also found that some of the phone conversations you have change a little based on your previous actions.

It took a few tries but I managed that bit. At least you don't have to run through the entire mission again, you just have to go to the start point and press up on the d-pad. Good luck getting any further though because there's 4 things you need to do on the paper trail website, I only managed to get 1 to load, had no luck since.

Its a shame Paper Trail isn't working, because the rest of the game was a blast. I'll probably give it a break for a week before starting an Evil playthrough. I hadn't played a game from start to finish in a couple days like that in a long while.

Finished up my Normal Evil playthrough, and holy crap Delsin is an even bigger dick than Cole ever was. Some of his actions felt a little incongruous with his general demeanor and disposition, to the point I think they should have made him more of an asshole early on in the game.

Took around 13 hours, not rushing, and finished at around 85% complete. Enjoyed it from beginning to end, so much so that I'm jumping right back in for an Expert Good playthrough, because I hate myself :rotate:

By that logic why should someone spend $60 on more of the same when they can just replay the first game? Repetition sucks, I couldn't get into Infamous 2 for the same reason, they hardly added or changed anything.
