Hollywood doesn't care as long as he brings in the money. That said, stupid people do think adults look like teenagers.

    Works for porn!

Well, Ice Cube does say he looks about 50 in the trailer.

If those women are not in on the scam I am seriously going to sign up for the one way trip to mars. Because humanity cannot be redeemed after that.

I like those shows (remember enjoying Joe Millionaire for the crap it became and how the two broke up immediately afterwards), because unlike the fake crap of the Bachelor where they continually act like it's for love, this is to pull one over on those same type of people looking for quick fame.

This isn't like that American Idol show on the WB where they only pushed the bad singers through, that's being nasty. This seems like fair game.

If only they could do something to blow up the Real Housewives BS. I thought Queen of Jordan might do something but it just seemed to make them stronger.

Hellion looks like every bad, boring indie movie ever made. Aaron Paul needs a new manager, post-BB ultrafame won't last forever.

Guardians still looking fantastic. That Steve Carell movie looks creepy as fuck, but in a good way.

They pulled the Guardians trailer that was posted earlier. Thankfully, Youtube is full of people reposting other folks' videos so finding another one was easy.

Why I am excited about Guardians of the Galaxy:

    - If they make Guardians of the Galaxy, then there is a high chance of a Guardians / Avengers combo movie.
    - If there is a Guardians / Avengers combo movie, then Robert Downey Jr. Tony Stark will interact with Rocket Raccoon.
    - If Robert Downey Jr Tony Stark interacts with Rocket Raccoon, then that scene will be the greatest moment in cinema.

Doubtful. At most I'd expect cameos, and unless it's in Avengers 3 RDJ won't be there when it happens.

I never would have thought, when first announced, that Guardians would be my most anticipated movie of the entire MU. It just looks awesome.

Knowhere is it's name, which is on the edge of space and time where entropy takes over. (it's actually the head of a Celestial)

It's like a big flea bazaar and later HQ to the GotG.

This better mean Cosmo shows up.

It's ridiculous is that Marvel can apparently put out a good product using talking space raccoons and trees while Sony struggles to make freaking Spider-Man work.

Racoons basically sell themselves, selling Rhinos and octopuses is hard.

Seriously. I'm bored by Cap and Thor but this looks fantastic, more in line with what made The Avengers so much fun.

Screw Sony, DC is still fumbling around, unable to figure out how to make a freakin' Wonder Woman movie.

DC: "Guys, I don't know if we can really make a superhero movie starring a woman."
Marvel: "A movie starring a gun-toting raccoon? Fuck yes."

With that said, yeah... Sony's current "take" on Spiderman is crap. Peter Parker isn't supposed to look like he could be on the cover of a GQ magazine. Parker being a smartass nerd that can only get laid if people know he's Spiderman is about as important as Bruce Wayne being all broody and antisocial is to Batman. It's like they watched the previous trilogy, took note of everything that it did right and said "Guys, make sure there's none of this crap this time around."

Garfield's Parker and Spider-man is very faithful to the comics. Parker isn't ugly, far from it. The dude was the prototype for harem anime, ladies love Peter. He isn't ugly or average, the comics have always drawn him being attractive and movies going there isn't shocking, both media have very attractive people in it.

yeah I don't see a problem with the portrayal and casting

haven't seen the second one from the new reboot but if I had anything to complain about in the first one it was just I felt like his spider-quips were I dunno

maybe too cheesy? forced? I dunno they just rubbed me the wrong way and didn't really make me laugh. a few were alright

but other than that I got no complaints

I have no problem with Spider-Man being a decent looking fellow. It's not as if Tobey Maguire is an ugly dude. What I didn't like about Garfield's Peter Parker is that he's cool. Even before getting his spidey powers. He's a loner, sure, but he's also a skateboarder and doesn't dress like a total nerd. Tobey-Parker I looked at and I understood why people picked on him. Garfield-Parker I looked at and was pretty sure he'd be completely in with the cool crowds if he wasn't required not to be as part of his character.

A movie about Haley Joe Osment trying to save his career with time travel? It might work.

In premium large format theaters. What does that mean?

Several of my college classmates are involved in this.

It's the same theater department that brought you Joel McHale.
